Dowry victim in India

This dowry victim was set on fire by her in-laws but managed to escape her tormentors and douse the flames. Shivering from fever and seriously burned, she huddled under a blanket in the corner of her hut, slipping into a semi-coma. When she regained consciousness three days later, the flesh of her charred arms had fussed together.
