  • Many women in Rajasthan wear an 'odhni', a long piece of cloth (3 meters by 2 meters). The odhni usually goes together with the 'ghagra' 'choli' or 'lehengas', but is also worn over a saree on special occasions. One end of it is tucked into the skirt or saree at the waist. It is draped gracefully across like a saree and partly covers the head in a short veil.

  • Generally, married Rajasthani women wear toerings (bichhia). They are usually made of silver and most women wear them in pairs. Often, a larger ring is worn on the great toe of the left foot, to show the married status.
